The website operator endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against People with Disabilities (BehiG). The European Accessibility Act (EAA) and EU Directive 2016/2102 are referenced as best-practice.
Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is only partially compatible with conformance level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03).
The alternative text is missing for some of the images used, meaning that this information is not accessible for screen reader users. This means that the WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not fulfilled. We plan to complete these missing labels on an ongoing basis.
Due to the interface connection to external partners, we cannot fully optimise various information (e.g. for products or map services such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Apple Maps) for accessibility.
Some embedded videos do not have subtitles, meaning that the content displayed is not available for deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not met.
According to an internal self-assessment review in May 2026, the website does not fully comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA in the following points: Info and Relationships (1.3.1) — heading structure is only partially appropriate; Headings and Labels (2.4.6) — tables are partially not optimally implemented; Error Identification (3.3.1) — error messages for some external embedded forms are sometimes insufficient.
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform YouTube or Vimeo. It is not technically possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these older videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not fulfilled. We are of the opinion that a correction would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. We plan to publish new videos with subtitles or make them available with text.
Some, mainly older PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, older PDF documents are not tagged so that they cannot be recognised and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.
No comprehensive change is currently planned for older, non-accessible documents that are still exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with specific documents. We will make the content accessible on request and replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. For new documents, we endeavour to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA-compliant before publication. Publication of non-accessible documents, such as print versions, will be labelled as such.
No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of third-party PDF content with accessibility regulations.
Live videos are not subtitled. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.4 (live subtitles) is not fulfilled. Live videos are exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. We do not plan to subtitle live videos.
This statement is reviewed annually. It was last reviewed in May 2026. The next review is planned for May 2027.
