This privacy policy applies to the website www.pantec-embellishment.com and all its subpages. It does not apply to external websites that we link to.
When you access our website, technical data is processed: IP address, date and time, URL requested, referrer, browser and operating system. Our hosting provider Webflow stores hashed IP addresses only temporarily, for a maximum of 24 hours, to defend against attacks.
Purpose: technical provision and security. Legal basis: Art. 31(2)(c) revDSG; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Via our contact form we process your name, business email address and message. Submission requires your consent to this privacy policy (checkbox).
Purpose: handling your enquiry and B2B communication. Legal basis: Art. 31 revDSG; Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR.
Enquiries via the contact form and by email are stored to handle your request and to document business correspondence. Business-relevant correspondence is retained in accordance with statutory retention periods (in Switzerland generally 10 years pursuant to Art. 958f CO). Non-business-relevant enquiries are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Emails you send us are processed in our email system (Microsoft Outlook / 365) and used internally to handle your request. Management of this correspondence is carried out manually by our staff.
If you sign up for our newsletter via the form in the website footer, we process your email address to send you product news and updates about Pantec embellishment systems. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 31(1) revDSG; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each newsletter or by emailing info.pgs@pantec.com. Sign-up data is processed through Webflow forms and our email system.

Google Analytics 4 is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. It collects pages viewed, time on site, and device/browser information. Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses only briefly to approximate location and, according to Google, does not store them. Data is processed only with your consent. Legal basis: Art. 31(1) revDSG; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner.
pt_cc (first-party, local storage) — stores your privacy settings (essential / analytics / marketing). Retained until you delete it in your browser.
_ga and _ga_* (Google) — visitor distinction and session state for Google Analytics 4. Set only with your consent. Retention: 24 months.
On this website, data is collected and stored for marketing, market research and optimisation purposes using technology provided by SalesViewer GmbH (Bochum, Germany), on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A JavaScript code is used to capture company-related data on visitor behaviour (B2B company recognition; no identification of private individuals). The data is encrypted using a non-reversible one-way function (hashing), immediately pseudonymised, and is not used to personally identify visitors. You can object to this collection at any time with effect for the future via the opt-out at https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out; an opt-out cookie will then be stored on your device.

Fonts: All fonts are served locally from our own server. No data is transferred to Google.
YouTube: Playing embedded videos may transfer data (in particular your IP address) to Google. We use the enhanced privacy mode where technically possible.
Services we do not use: map services (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Apple Maps) and CRM systems with form integration.
Some of our service providers are based or have parent companies in the USA. A transfer of data to the USA therefore takes place. Webflow Inc. and Google LLC are, to our knowledge, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, providing a recognised level of protection within the meaning of Art. 16 revDSG and Art. 45 GDPR.
In our assessment, we are not required to designate a representative in the European Union pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR, as our processing takes place only occasionally and does not present a high risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects.
As a data subject you have the following rights regarding your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch); in the EU/EEA the supervisory authority of your member state.
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and manipulation. Transmission is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. Our security measures are continuously updated to the state of the art.
