The correct machine setup is decisive for quality, efficiency and tool longevity, whether the job is straightforward or involves a complex multi-stroke application combining foil, embossing and register. Pantec shares this knowledge directly with its customers.
The basics
A job that is set up well starts long before the first stroke. The temperature, pressure, dwell time, foil advance and tool positioning must all be coordinated and reassessed for each substrate, foil and motif.
Simple jobs require a solid understanding of the basics. Complex jobs involving multiple foils, register embossing or combination embellishments demand experience that cannot be gained from reading a manual alone.
Know-how
Pantec has supported hundreds of production environments, ranging from small label printers to global packaging groups. This experience feeds directly into our practical, machine-specific training programmes, which focus on the real challenges customers face every day.
Our application engineers know more than just the machine; they also understand the typical sources of error, the limits of different substrates and the techniques that transform good results into outstanding ones.
Pantec offers training for all experience levels — from machine operator to production manager.
Level 1
Machine operation, safety and setting up simple tasks. This course provides the right foundation for new operators working with Pantec systems for the first time.
Level 2
Complex jobs, troubleshooting and optimisation of running parameters. This course is designed for experienced operators looking to improve quality and efficiency.
On-Site
Training is carried out directly in your production environment, using your machines, substrates and jobs. It is highly relevant and avoids unnecessary theory.
Remote
Get fast support for urgent questions directly from the Pantec team. Get in touch whenever you need to, without having to wait for a site visit.
A make-ready is required for all stamping applications. These materials are used to equalise pressure and compensate for irregularities in the job. Our specialists have carefully selected a range of make-ready materials from around the world. Using these materials for your project offers a number of advantages.
