Kyburg Guetzli: Flat-bottom pouches with exclusive appearance
Embellishment technologies have been used in the label industry for many years, especially for wine and spirits. In addition to creating metallic effects with hot foil stamping, various types of embossing can be used to enhance packaging and make it stand out on the shelf. Market studies have shown that a product with haptic effects can sell up to 10 % more.
An effect that can of course also be used in the flexible packaging sector. The sample example of "Kyburg Guetzli" (Swiss name for cookies) shows the impressive design effects that can be achieved on flexible materials.
The substrate used is a composite material made of paper and OPPC, which is transformed into a unique masterpiece through advanced flat embossing techniques. This innovative packaging elevates the product's presentation and boosts its shelf appeal.
